A teenager was arrested Thursday after police say he shot into a car and an apartment.
The shootings occurred around 6:30 a.m., according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.
The accused 17-year-old, whose name was not released because of his age, took a 12-gauge shotgun and walked to some apartments located in the 900 block of Brook Avenue, George said.
When he arrived, he allegedly shot into the front end of a vehicle that was parked in front of the apartment.
He then allegedly shot one round through the front window and walked to the rear of the apartment and shot two more rounds through the back window, George said.
At the time of the shooting, five people were inside.
The teen was located at his residence and placed under arrest. He is charged with four counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling, one count of reckless handling of a firearm and one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm.
