Suffolk police have released photos taken from surveillance footage in an effort to identify two suspects involved in a shoplifting at a liquor store this month.
Police say the pair entered the Alcoholic Beverage Control store at 6550 Hampton Roads Parkway around 6:40 p.m. on Dec. 5.
The suspects took a bottle of vodka and left the store without paying. When a store employee confronted one of the suspects in the parking lot, he threw the bottle and ran. A security guard observed one suspect running across a parking lot toward Hampton Roads Parkway, while the other reportedly left the area in a red SUV.
Both suspects are described as black males in their mid-30s with slim builds.
