Bobby Joe Ryan, 39, of Suffolk, passed away Dec. 30, 2011. He was born in New Orleans, La., the son of Joseph Robert Ryan and Sheila Wale Ryan. He worked as a forklift operator for Suffolk Cold Storage.

Mr. Ryan is survived by his parents; daughters, Allison Ashleigh Ryan of Suffolk, Hailee Ryan and Hannah Ryan both of Louisiana; sisters, Cynthia JoAnn Ryan of Houston and Mindy Jo Dail and Angeline Katherine Ryan, both of Suffolk; brothers, Rocky Joseph Ryan of Suffolk and Jerry Graham Ryan and David Mark Ryan, both of Louisiana.

A funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Missionary Church, 545 Turlington Road, Suffolk, with the Rev. L.E. Stanworth officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Missionary Church.
