Two arrested in shooting

Suffolk police on Tuesday arrested two people in connection with a shooting on Wilson Street last month.
Raheem Dasean Artis, 21, and William Jeffrey Holland, 19, both were arrested and charged with multiple felonies.
According to city spokeswoman Debbie George, officers in the area of Wilson Street heard gunshots about 2:44 a.m. and got a report of a man who had been shot.
When they arrived, they found the victim, a 20-year-old male, suffering from gunshot wounds to his left arm, right thigh, hip and groin area.
Artis is charged with malicious wounding; shoot, stab, cut or wound; use of a firearm in the commission of a felony; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm in a public place, causing injury.
Holland is charged with malicious wounding; shoot, stab, cut or wound; use of a firearm in the commission of a felony; and discharging a firearm in a public place, causing injury.
Initial court dates have not yet been set.
