Vernon L. Cubby, 47, Yorktown, Va., died June 6, 2012, in Sentara Care Complex, Hampton, Va. A viewing will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Mission of Deliverance Temple COGIC, 6560 Crumpler Road, Ivor, VA 23866. A funeral will be held at noon Friday, June 15, at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery, 14165 Racetrack Road, Ivor, VA 23866. Sterling Brook Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling the arrangements.
