Frances J. Eason, 82, passed away July 6, 2012, at Nansemond Pointe.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Ruby P. Eason.

She is survived by her brother Bill Eason and his wife Ann of Suffolk; nieces Kathy Brinkley and husband Billy, Lori Bess and husband Chris, and Gayle Speed and husband Jake; nephew Rock Eason and wife Tammy; two great nieces; six great nephews and three great-great-nieces.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 9, 2012, at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Charles Thompson at Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., on Sunday, July 8, 2012, from 7 to 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, P. O. 2156, Norfolk, VA 23501-2156.
