The suspect stole scratch-off lottery tickets and was captured on surveillance cameras in another store cashing in the winning tickets. Police released an image of the suspect in July in hopes of someone being able to identify him.

The store had extensive damage to the front display window, city officials added.

Scott is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail in Williamsburg, the news release stated.
