Mrs. Lucille Williams, of 205 Walnut St., departed this earthly life on March 24, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ethel Davis Valentine and her husband, Willie “Willie Boy” Williams. She was a retired teacher from Booker T. Washington High School and Suffolk High School.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Mahan Street, Chums Club and the Retired Teachers Association.

Her survivors include her loving brother, Claude Thomas Valentine, of Suffolk, and her adopted brother, Norman Wilson, of New Jersey; a nephew, Dameon Beale; a sister-in-law, Rose Ann C. Valentine.

A funeral of triumph will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at noon at First Baptist Church, Mahan Street. The Rev. Steven Blunt is officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
