Apprentice School junior and Suffolk native Ben Hunter took second place in the 76-player Roanoke College Invitational after scoring a two-over-par 73 on Sunday to finish five-over-par 147 at the par-71 course in Salem.

The Builders rebounded from a tournament-low 335 in Day One to card a 317 on Sunday and jump up four spots. That was the largest differential of rounds by any team in the event.
