Robbery suspects sought

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance locating two armed robbery suspects.

Police found the victim running down the 300 block of North Fifth Street with his hands bound about 8 a.m. Wednesday. He told police that he was sleeping in his garage apartment in the 1100 block of Mount Horeb Street when he was awakened by two unknown, armed black males who forced him to the floor and demanded money. The suspects bound the victim’s wrists with electrical wires after taking the victim’s wallet, cellphone, electronic devices and video games. They fled the scene in a vehicle.

The first suspect is described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall, about 200 pounds, wearing a gray mask and dark Levi jeans with another pair of pants on underneath, and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, with braided hair, light jeans with pants underneath, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black mask.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
