Comfort Care Home Health Care opened with a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony that welcomed about 30 people on Wednesday to its 207 Market St. office.
Vice Mayor Charles Brown was on hand for the event.
“This is about serving God’s people,” he said. “Our city is growing by leaps and bounds. We need to grow with it.”
The company is owned by Annette Goodman, president. She also honored God during the ceremony.
“I’m stepping out on faith, and He has supplied everything I need,” she said during the ceremony.
The company will provide personal and respite care services to Suffolk and the surrounding areas. Services include nursing and assistance with bathing, dressing, medication management, housekeeping, grocery shopping and daily errands.
The company will accept private pay and Medicaid. For more information, call 923-2980.
