H.M. White Transportation of Suffolk has received a Safety Excellence Award from Lancer Insurance Company. The award recognizes the safety excellence of H.M. White Transportation for the 2012 policy year.

Lancer, which provides bus insurance to companies in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, instituted its Safety Excellence Award program more than 20 years ago to recognize companies that demonstrate their commitment of safety to customers and employees through superior claims records.

“We’re extremely pleased to recognize H.M. White Transportation for its achievement,” Lancer vice president and director of safety and loss prevention Bob Crescenzo said.

“We believe it is very important that recipient companies’ management, drivers, mechanics and support staff be publicly acknowledged for performing their critical jobs at a level that not only meets, but often exceeds, industry standards.”
