Frederick J. Adger Jr. died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Philadelphia, Pa., and the son of Frederick Adger Sr. and Marie King Adger.

He retired as a longshoreman (ILA) in Philadelphia, Pa.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Iris H. Adger; sons, Andre Adger, Francois Adger (Rose), Antoine Adger, all of Philadelphia, Pa., Husain Alim, of Cornville, Ariz., Lamont Adger (Constance), of Suffolk; daughters, Michele C. Faulk (Richard), of Suffolk, and Dinyean Adger, of Hollis, N.Y.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Philadelphia, Pa., at a later date. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Michele C. Faulk, 1104 Manning Road, Suffolk.
