Contractors working on resurfacing the Godwin Bridge on Route 17 will be closing one lane of the bridge from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

A press release from the city of Suffolk noted that the contractor will have a flagging operation in place, which will allow traffic in northbound and southbound lanes across the bridge at alternating times.
