Parker continued in Wednesday’s win over Western Branch High School, registering three more goals and two assists.
  • Curtis Rouse, senior for Lakeland High School football: Despite the narrow loss to Indian River High School, he thrilled the crowd in the Cavaliers’ home debut by covering 228 yards on 12 carries, including scoring his team’s first touchdown of the game.
  • Deshaun Wethington, sophomore for King’s Fork High School football: The Bulldogs lost to host Grassfield High School, but he was nothing short of sensational. He helped his team outgain its host by carrying the ball 27 times for 241 yards and a touchdown. He had 158 yards in the first half alone.
