An Isle of Wight County man was arrested last week on charges of forcible sodomy against a 5-year-old girl and child pornography.

Cecil John Dunlap, 66, of the 4300 block of Joyner Street, was arrested Sept. 17 and charged with forcible sodomy. After investigators discovered child pornography on the suspect’s computer, which had been seized in a search warrant, he was charged with five counts of possessing child pornography.

The victim and the suspect were known to one another, and the crime took place in the suspect’s home, according to a press release from the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office.
