Mr. Albert “Sonny” Majette, of Gates Road, Suffolk, died Oct. 7, 2013. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at noon, at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Ave., Franklin, with the pastor, the Rev. Anthony Goodwyn, delivering the eulogy. Burial is in Mount Sinai Cemetery, Suffolk. Services will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
