The following roads in Suffolk are currently experiencing high water as a result of Thursday’s heavy rains, according to city officials:

• North Main Street remains closed at the Kimberly Bridge
• Bank Street at Commerce Street
• East Constance Road between North Main Street and Katherine Street
• Henley Place at West Washington Street
• West Washington Street at Saratoga Street
• County Street at Dill Road
• Nixon Drive between Sierra Drive and Spencer Court
• Spruce Street and Mill Street
• S. 6th Street and Lake Kennedy Drive

Additionally, the Suffolk Division of Emergency Management advises that a coastal flood warning remains in effect for the city until 8 a.m. Friday. The next high tide for the Nansemond River at North Main Street in the Kimberly Bridge area will be at 2:15 a.m. Flooding is expected.
