Trindco will hold a “Counters for a Cause” stone sale this month to benefit injured soldiers.

Homeowners can purchase discounted countertops with three percent of the proceeds going to Homes for Our Troops, which builds specially-adapted homes for injured veterans, according to a press release from the business.

In the first two years of the event, Artisan Group members have raised nearly $60,000.

“Our soldiers give up many things, including parts of themselves, to defend the freedom we Americans hold so dear,” said Hunter Adams, owner of Trindco. “We are proud of them, and consider it a privilege to give something back to them.”
