Ernestine Colander of Suffolk died Oct. 9, 2013, in Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County.

She is survived by one sister, Harlena Colander MaGee.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at noon at Wyatt and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
