Jean March Epperson, 80, passed away Oct. 14, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Robert D. March Sr. and Bertie Mae March. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton S. Epperson Jr. (Buddy), and her brother, Robert D. March Jr.

She is survived by her son, Milton S. Epperson III (Flip); daughters, Deborah E. Parker and husband, Chuck, Sharon E. Williams and husband, Dennis; a sister, Virginia M. Rountree; three grandsons, Charles M. Parker and wife, Britney, Justin R. Williams, Blake S. Williams; and one great-granddaughter, Carlee Parker, all of Suffolk.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, by the Rev. Wayne Gardner in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbakerfh.com.
