William Lindberg “Bill” Moss, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 19, at Bristol Memorial in Briston, Conn. He was a native of Creedmoor, N.C. He is survived by a wife, Pauline Moss; a son, Bishop Wallace Moss Johnson, of Suffolk; six siblings; Fannie Lue Hawley, of Newark, N.J., Ruby Mitchell, of Raleigh, N.C., Kay Frances Cannady and Ruth Moss, both of Bristol, Conn., Robert Grey Moss and Lonnie Moss, both of Creedmoor, N.C.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Bishop Wallace Moss Johnson will conduct funeral services Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, (919) 693-8870, in Oxford, N.C. Burial will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Carver Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk.
