The Heritage High School boys’ volleyball team dropped two games by six points apiece last Thursday, then made things interesting in the next two. But host Lakeland High School won on its senior night, 25-19, 25-19, 19-25, 25-23.

Senior setter Ryan Stalnaker led the Cavaliers with 28 assists while junior middle blocker/hitter Irvin Ashburn had nine blocks.

With this match, Lakeland finished the regular season 5-20 overall and 4-6 in the Ironclad Conference. The Cavs begin play in the conference tournament next week.
