Police seek robbery suspects

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying two suspects in a Wednesday night robbery of the BP gas station in the 600 block of Carolina Road.

Two black males entered the convenience store about 9:15 p.m., according to a press release from the city. One demanded money and threatened the clerk with a handgun.

The first suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing dark shoes, black pants, a blue hoodie with white writing on the back, black cloth gloves, and a hat under the hoodie.

The second suspect is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing gray shoes, gray pants, white gloves and a black Nike hoodie with a white Nike logo on the front.

Both had the hoodies pulled tightly over their faces.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
