Lady Bulldogs continue to cruise

The King’s Fork High School girls’ basketball team nears an undefeated record in the Ironclad Conference after trouncing host Denbigh High School on Tuesday, 78-55.
Senior Brittany Alston had a stellar game with 18 points, 14 assists and six steals. Freshman Amesha Miller led the Lady Bulldogs with 20 points to go with 13 rebounds. Senior Khadedra Croker added 14 points and 15 boards.
On Monday, King’s Fork routed visiting Heritage High School, 53-30. Croker also scored 14 points in that contest, while sophomore Jazlyn Dunn, freshman Cydney Nichols and Miller scored nine points apiece.
The Lady Bulldogs (18-2, 9-0) concluded their regular-season schedule Thursday night against host Lakeland High School.
