Mr. Shedrick Crocker of Chuckatuck went into eternal rest on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in Nansemond Pointe/Kindred Health Care.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Crocker (Maxine), of Chuckatuck, Shedrick Crocker III, of Georgia, Anthony Turner (Valerie), of Surry, Brian Crocker and David Davis (Trisha), of Suffolk; a stepdaughter, Della Darden (Greg), also of Suffolk; his brother, Melvin Crocker, of Hobson, and sisters, Mary Hall, also of Hobson, and Manie Hall, of Salisbury, Md. He will be lovingly missed by his 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Shedrick was a former employee of Smithfield Packing Company and member of Mt. Lebanon Church.

A homegoing service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home, 685 Carolina Road, Suffolk, at noon with the Rev. Gordon Burrell officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dill Road, Suffolk.
