Woolston graduates basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Eric D. Woolston graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Woolston is the son of Kristin and Calvin Woolston and brother of Bryce Woolston, all of Suffolk, and grandson of Linda Dickerson, Lloyd Dickerson, Ann Woolston and Lenord Woolston, all of Belmont, N.Y.
He is a 2008 graduate of Nansemond River High School. He earned an associate degree in 2011 from Universal Technical Institutes, Orlando, Fla.
