Violet J. Johnson, 96, of 25151 Orcutt Ave., Newport News, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at noon, Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 804 41st St., Newport News. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the services.
