To the editor:

On behalf of the U.S. Route 460 Corridor Improvement Project team, I’d like to thank the nearly 700 people who joined us at five town hall meetings in late July. The meetings gave us a chance to update you on recent activity, but more importantly gave us an opportunity to hear your questions and concerns.

As we told those who attended the meetings, we expect to have a signed Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement out for public review sometime in the fall. When that happens, we will hold three public hearings to share more details about our study and give you more opportunities to make statements for the formal public record.

And we continue on track to recommend a preferred alternative sometime in early 2015.
