Jesse Keith Byrd, 59, passed away Aug. 22, 2014. He was born in Suffolk, the son of the late Jesse Q. and Mary Gold Byrd. He formerly worked for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as an inside machinist.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 33 years, Terry Byrd; daughters and son-in-law, Jessica Byrd, Debra Byrd (Mark Brindle); granddaughters, Natalie and Adriana.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at noon at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
