The Nansemond River High School golf team defeated Lakeland High School 344-391 on Tuesday at Sleepy Hole Golf Course.

Leo Outland and Andrew Halmrast led the Warriors with scores of 85, Myles Geller shot an 86, Ryan Fischer and Brian Russell shot 88s and Jack Wolfe hit a 99.

The Cavaliers were led by Blake Harris with an 87. He was followed by Blake Bullock with a 95, James Whitley with a 96, Jack Boswell with a 103 and Jacob Diggs with a 107.

Nansemond River and Lakeland next play in the Ironclad Conference tournament held on Monday and Tuesday in Newport News.
