A Suffolk man died in an apparent homicide in Chesapeake on Tuesday night.

Trevor Baldwin, 20, of the 2900 block of Pinewood Circle in Suffolk, was found dead at 9:18 p.m. on Dunedin Drive in Chesapeake, according to a police spokesperson.

Officers had been dispatched to an auto accident, where they found a vehicle that had struck a tree. Baldwin, the driver, had suffered gunshot wounds and was deceased, police said.

There is no suspect information available at this time.
