The girls’ volleyball team of Nansemond River High School defeated host Heritage High School in straight sets on Thursday night, 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

Camryn Holt of the Lady Warriors had an impressive night serving the ball, ending up with 14 aces. She also had 18 assists and five kills.

Nansemond River visits Phoebus High School on Tuesday night.
