In support of Life Insurance Awareness Month, World Financial Group associates made a commitment to place $1 billion in life insurance protection during the month of September.

Associates in the Harbour View area of Suffolk helped the company triple its goal, contributing $8 million to the effort, according to company officials. The Suffolk office had been tasked with a $5-million goal.

Fernando Gaines led the Suffolk office with more than $2 million in coverage. Nikia Tull produced $1.5 million in coverage. Tameca Arrington produced $1 million in coverage, and Fletcher Crawley reached just short of a million dollars. Also Barber Burgess, Cordel Garett and Feba Thomas produced $750,000 in coverage each.
