Two parents are accused of allowing juveniles to drink alcohol at their home on Dec. 6, police say.

Shannon Marchell Bruce, 40, and Shawn David Bruce, 42, were arrested and each charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and two counts of purchasing alcohol for an unauthorized person.

The incident was reported by a woman who went to police headquarters on Dec. 8 and reported that her teenage daughter stayed overnight at the home in the 300 block of Gauntlet Way on the evening of Dec. 6.

She said juveniles were permitted to consume alcohol that was already located at the residence during a party that occurred there, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

The parents of the involved parties were advised of procedures to obtain warrants at the magistrate’s office, Klink stated.
