The Virginia High School League Group 4A state swimming championships have been pushed back due to the recent inclement weather, while the original schedule for the 4A state wrestling championships remains intact.

The state swimming meet was originally set for today, but will now take place on Friday at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Preliminaries will be held in the morning and finals in the evening.

The state wrestling tournament remains scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Salem Civic Center. On Friday, quarterfinal matches will begin at 4 p.m., and quarterfinal consolation matches will start at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, the semifinals begin at 9:30 a.m., semifinal consolation matches follow at 11:30 a.m., and medal matches determining third, fourth, fifth and sixth place start at 1:30 p.m. Championship matches will get under way at 5:30 p.m.
