Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s baseball team handed visiting Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School a 12-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Senior Alberto Smith and junior Patrick Crossman combined to throw a no-hitter for the Saints in the five-inning game. Smith threw five strikeouts in four innings of work.

At the plate, junior Sam Neal, sophomore Mitchell Williams and junior Dominick Claxton led the way for NSA with two hits apiece.

Nansemond-Suffolk (3-2, 1-0) visits Hampton Roads Academy this afternoon.
