Saints runs away from HRA

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball team fell behind 3-0 in the first inning on Thursday against host Hampton Roads Academy, but the Saints responded with eight unanswered runs for an 8-3 victory.
NSA junior Hunter Foster and sophomore James Mullin pitched six and one-third innings of no-hit baseball and combined for 13 strikeouts.
Nansemond-Suffolk senior Alberto Smith, junior Dominick Claxton and sophomore Mitchell Williams had two hits apiece. Senior Toby Buchanan and junior Sam Neal each had a hit and a run batted in.
The Saints (4-2, 2-0) will host Norfolk Collegiate School on Tuesday.
