Robert Lee Bell Jr., 51, of 511 S. Main St., Suffolk, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Helen S. Bell and the late Robert L. Bell Sr.

He was a graduate of Forest Glen High School. Robert received a certificate from The Pruden Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, LaShanta Jennings, of Suffolk; one son, Robert Lee Bell III, of Suffolk; two sisters, Arllisa Powell (Willie) and Veral Bell (George); two brothers, James D. Bell (Sonya) and Michael Bell (Tameka); special friend, Ben Stephenson; best friends and nephews, Christopher B. Rodgers, Eric Bell and Nikolas Powell; heavenly angels, Jerimiah, Mariyah and Destinee Bell; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by Bishop Madison Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
