James Andrews Sr., 79, went home with the angels on June 21, 2015.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, James Andrews Jr.; one daughter, LaVerne Andrews-Edwards; one grandson, Carlos Andrews; one brother, Leroy Andrews Sr.; one sister, Delois Little; two sisters-in-law, Janet Parker and Louise Andrews; and many other relatives and friends.

His funeral will take place July 10, 2015, at Mt. Jezreel Baptist Church, 317 N. Payne St., Alexandria. The wake will begin at 9 a.m., with the funeral following at 11 a.m.
