Bulldogs rebound from loss, win tri-match

King’s Fork High School’s golf team won a tri-match on Tuesday at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth after opening the week in Suffolk with a loss to Great Bridge High School.
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs produced a team score of 466, Woodrow Wilson High School had a score of 512, and Lake Taylor High School did not generate an eligible score.
King’s Fork’s Rebecca Dixon earned the medalist honor with an individual score of 103.
Great Bridge High School topped the Bulldogs 310-497 on Monday at Nansemond River Golf Club.
The Wildcats’ E.J. Whiten was the medalist with an even-par score of 72.
The Bulldogs compete against Oscar Smith High School on Thursday at Cahoon Plantation Golf Club in Chesapeake.
