Marion “Sister” Scott died on Sept. 22, 2015, at Sentara Obici Hospital. Ms. Scott’s visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at Rising St. James Pentecostal Holiness Church, and she will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
