Woman dies in Holland Road crash

A Chesapeake woman died Friday in a crash on Holland Road.
Clayretta C. Wilson, 63, of Chesapeake, died when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle while exiting a service station in the 6200 block of Holland Road, according to a city press release. The crash happened at 6:25 a.m.
Wilson was driving a Mercedes Benz SUV and was struck by a Jeep Wrangler traveling eastbound. The male driver of the Jeep was transported to Sentara Obici Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
