Thelma Arlene Jones Jeffery was born July 14, 1938, and passed away Oct. 10, 2015. She was born in Goldsboro, N.C., to Thomas Andrew Jones and Anna Evelyn Gregg Jones. She was a member of Holland Baptist Church and was employed at Union Camp in Franklin in the sheet finishing department for 30 years.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Anna Jeffery Westnedge (Steven), of Suffolk; her granddaughter and precious chick-a-dee, Jennifer Anne Westnedge; and her new little lamb, her first great-grandson, Alexander Steven Chase, of Chesapeake. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy J. Manning, and niece, Theresa E. Manning, of Jacksonville, N.C.

A celebration of life service will be on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor Jackie Allen officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive visitors at 1652 Pitchkettle Road, Suffolk.
