A Suffolk man is charged with five offenses after police say his two granddaughters fell out of the back of his pickup truck.

Police were dispatched to Sentara Obici Hospital just after 10 a.m. Saturday in reference to two children who suffered road rash after they slid off the back of the truck, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

Officers investigated and found that Bobby Trump Jr., 53, was driving the girls in the back of his truck in the 1200 block of Willowbrook Drive in the Nansemond Gardens neighborhood earlier that morning.
