Terrence Hoggard Jr. died on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, in Portsmouth.

He was a Suffolk native and resident. Known as a humble, noble, hardworking young man, he made a living as an ink operator for Vitex Packaging Company.
He is survived by his son, Kristian Wright, of Suffolk; his mother, Meredith Manley, of Suffolk; his father, Terrence Hoggard Sr., of Suffolk; two sisters, Maquita Manley, of Suffolk, and Ryshen Eure, of Newport News; two brothers, James Diggs Jr. and Ki’Ontae Diggs, of Suffolk, and host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irene Lawrence Manley, Alex Manley Jr., Fera Hoggard and Duke Hoggard.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. It will take place at East End Baptist Church, located at 523 E. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434. Repast will be held following the burial for immediate family. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
