Crews work fire

Suffolk Fire and Rescue crews were on the scene of a commercial structure fire in the 1500 block of Holland Road Wednesday evening.
Emergency Communications received the call at 9:13 p.m., and the first units arrived on scene at 9:21 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke showing from the Miller Mart portion of the combined single story structure, which also includes an Arby’s restaurant. All employees and patrons had evacuated prior to their arrival. There were no injuries.
Responding units include Engines 1, 2 and 4, Ladders 3 and 5, Rescue 1 and 6, Medic 1, Battalion 1 and EMS-1.
Suffolk Police are also on scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
