Wanda Howell-Adedapo

On Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, God sent his angels to claim the soul of 54-year-old Wanda Howell-Adedapo. Wanda was born on July 21, 1961, to Flossie Picott Howell and the late Al S. Howell Sr.
She was a native of Holland and a 1979 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Suffolk. After graduation, she joined the U.S. Army, after which she was employed at Planters Kraft Foods until her health failed.
Wanda was baptized and joined Pulaski Baptist Church in Carrsville.
Wanda is survived by her mother, Flossie Howell, of Suffolk; son, Jamie Aisida-Jacobs (Danielle); daughter, Regina Howell; granddaughters, Talia and Jada Aisida-Jacobs; and grandson, Joesiah Aisida-Jacobs; sisters, Jackie Maddrey, Sandra Howell Dunson, Katrina Howell, Lora Ann Howell Copeland, Monica Howell and Gloria Smith (Randolph); two brothers, Al Smith Howell Jr. (Michelle) and Julius Howell (Patricia); three aunts; two uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ms. Adedapo’s wake service will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at Pulaski Baptist Church, 6431 Carrsville Highway, Carrsville, VA 23315.
