“Home Care will provide individual assistance with medical concerns and daily activities in the comfort of the resident’s home,” noted Lake Prince Woods Executive Director Judy Raymond.

“This is a wonderful service that will allow residents to recover from surgery or illness in their home or aid them with simple tasks so they can remain in their home for a longer period.”

The home care director is Nan Evans. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a certified nursing assistant and registered medication aide instructor.  Most recently she was director of nursing at an assisted living facility.

“Home Care services can provide both personal care and medical assistance,” Evans said. “Examples of personal care are assisting with errands, shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, dietary review and transportation. Medical care will encompass things such as medication management and reminders, pacemaker checks, glucose testing and more.”

As home care director she will supervise all services provided and make periodic home visits to ensure the satisfaction of the resident.
