A young man died last week of injuries he suffered during a crash several days earlier.

Michael Khalil Hudson, 19, succumbed to his injuries on Jan. 7, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said Monday.

The crash happened about 11:45 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 5100 block of eastbound Holland Road.

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash. Hudson was airlifted by Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Two additional occupants suffered injuries not considered life-threatening and were taken to Sentara Obici Hospital.
